You don’t need any special equipment to find paranormal places. Meta-physicians know that energy imprints have been left in an array of places. And I detail the kind of location and give examples on this page. If you live in a historic city you won’t have to look too far for a hive of paranormal activity. I recently interviewed Paranormal Investigators, Attila Kaldy and Valissa and they both agree these places exist and they kindly assisted me with my research.
Murder & Mayhem
Places that have been battlefields or areas associated with murder, trauma or torture are reported to have paranormal activity. In Sydney the old Quarantine Station is believed to be active with paranormal activity. In its time many people died from horrendous diseases. The station had a mortuary and it is recorded that its doors kept opening at night - and locks had to be installed.
Mental Hospitals
In times gone by people with a mental illness were locked away in Lunatic Asylums. Many of these patients were “committed” against their will and treatment was brutal and degrading. Today, sightings, voices, sounds and paranormal activity have been experienced by a whole range of people at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, West Virginia. It was designed for 250 people - it housed 2,400. Old mental institutions are not not just found in the US - you will find these sort of paranormal places throughout the world.

Hospitals
Your normal every day hospital is a hive of paranormal activity. Both good and bad. Births, deaths, suffering, confusion, fear, healing and new beginnings happen in hospitals. Speak to any nurse or doctor privately and you may learn of the strange happenings in our medical facilities - the fear of a professional person being labelled a loony keeps them quiet.
Prisons
Jails house people suffering with pain, confusion, anger and hopelessness. In olden times it was much worse - with many being imprisoned for trivial crimes. Over a 150 year period Bodmin Jail in Cornwall UK held 50 hangings. And it was home to thousands of prisoners in poor conditions. Footsteps, rattling keys and strange noises are often heard.
The image below is Parramatta Gaol or sometimes spelled Jail. Since it was vacated in 2011 it is like time has stood still. I stood in Wing Six by myself at dusk - it was very eery.
Other Paranormal Places
Paranormal Activity doesn’t always mean bad energy. Many places of worship have been the focus of joy over the centuries. Prayers are asked and answered. Journey’s change. Babies are Christened. People are married. Temples are a constant focus for people wanting forgiveness and a greater good for themselves and others. This link to Wikipedia will highlight a few more around the world.
You won’t have to search too far to find paranormal places. With any investigation of paranormal activity a good investigator will do some research on a place’s history.
