The psychics I have met who do paranormal psychic readings are quite sensitive people and can tune into different energies very easily. They will need to be with you or at your home for the reading - I don’t believe this type of reading can be done over the phone. If a psychic discovers that an energy or entity is around they will suggest a clearing - that could take a few sessions. If you are not sure always ask.
If the paranormal activity is around you - they will want to determine if it is with your person or an abject you have. If it is in your home the psychic will need to sit and possibly meditate so they can get the “feel” of the situation. They should ask how long you have been experiencing paranormal activity - and when it started. They should also ask about any “collector’s items” - sometimes an entity is attached to them. Unbeknown to you a spirit may have piggy backed onto you (or a family member) at some time in your life.
