Paranormal House | Uncovered

A paranormal house is not something you want. Yes, as a passerby, film-goer or visitor it sounds like a bit of fun and adventure. But for residents of these dwellings - it is anything but fun. For many their lives are disrupted - and they fear speaking out for fear of being ridiculed or labelled “crazy”.

There are different schools of thought on whether an entity can attach itself to a dwelling. Psychic Medium Robert Reeves talks about “hitchhikers” - who attach themselves to people and follow them home. And when disturbances happen in the home it is assumed the house is “haunted”.

A friend Bryan shared his story. I have known him for years but we rarely talk about the psychic realm. But one day he opened up. Their home was in a plush area, two stories high - they had two children and another on the way.

Happenings in Bryan’s Paranormal House

• Each family member had fallen down the stairs at various times.
• The children had medical issues.
• The house felt unwelcoming - especially upstairs.
• Not wanting to spend time upstairs.
• Experiencing shifts of temperature in different parts of the house.
• Cold area at the top of the stairs.
• Feeling of being watched - but only upstairs.
• Whispers heard over the baby monitor.
• Bryan awoke to the bedroom door opening. He called out thinking it was his daughter - there was nobody there. The door had been locked.

Brian and his wife didn’t think about their residence being a paranormal house (pictured left) - they brushed off the strange happenings as co-incidence, wind, old floorboards, electricity faults, crossed connections etc. But after a time they were forced to share their own fears with each other - all was not right.

They moved homes. And everything was peaceful. For a week.
Then it started again. Bryan and his partner thought they were going crazy and feared speaking out. In desperation they approached psychic medium and paranormal investigator Valissa. Valissa visited their home and confirmed there were entities who had attached themselves to Bryan’s partner and child. She told them one entity was mischievous and the other was troublesome - and the troublesome one just didn’t want to leave. After a few days of clearing, the house settled and they have had no further problems. When they tell their story they still have shivers.
