Interviews with Psychics

I started conducting video interviews with psychics for two reasons. To get a broader understanding of the psychic genre and to also meet some interesting people.

 

I have interviewed professional psychics in my various media roles for close to a decade - and have witnessed well over five thousand readings. Most readers I’ve met intrigue and fascinate me. A few are away with the pixies. When I am on-air and the microphone is off we chat - they never joke about their gift or ridicule a client or caller. I am fascinated by that - because they must also meet some desperate people. But why do they do it? I don’t see too many driving around in flashy cars - in fact, some only do a few readings a week.

You will find a common thread in the interviews - the psychics have either been born with an ability or a tragic moment in their lives has caused them to question. Not wanting to accept that a loved one had passed - and that was that. Nearly all I have asked have agreed to be interviewed - not for fame but more so they can get their own message out there.

What do Interviews with Psychics Reveal?

Psychics come in every size, shape, color and nationality. I have learned there is no particular feature that makes one better than the other. Some are clairvoyant, mediums, trance-mediums and palm readers - but they all seem to be genuine - just getting on with their own lives. If they aren’t nice they’d fall by the wayside very quickly.

When I attend psychic fairs I watch them reading. It must be exhausting - they sit and read for hours upon hours. That takes some concentration - especially with some poor soul waiting for news of their future or connection to a past loved one. I admire the psychics who say: “I cannot connect”. It would be so easy to “pretend” as I am sure some charlatans do.
