As a child Amanda Roussety thought everyone had the gift of “second sight” and didn’t think she was different to anyone else. An encounter with a school friend left Amanda confused - until “Nana” was called in to talk about the “family gift”. Her Nana explained to her that there had been healers and clairvoyants throughout the family - and for many generations. She was nurtured and supported by her family and her gift has evolved with her. There was no doubt on her choice of career!
As a teenager Amanda “scanned” people’s bodies with her hands and would talk about their ailments etc - she became the “Talk of the Town” at family parties - where relatives would line up for readings. At fourteen she was connecting to spirit and delivering messages. It is fascinating to watch Amanda in action - she displays an air of confidence equal to an Olympian. She is totally engrossed in her client and treats each reading very seriously.
Spirit Guides
In her early 20’s after the deaths of family members, her ability strengthened. Amanda often speaks of her spirit guides and how they encourage her to meditate. She is an advocate for meditation - and how it settles the mind. She is also a teacher and runs workshops regularly.
She also guides parents who may have a child with a gift. She tells them her story and let’s them discover how unique their child is - instead of them thinking the child is a freak. She has a very comforting and loving manner.
Amanda Roussety became a household name after her appearance in the national television program “The One”. She also consulted on the second series.
