From time to time psychics have told me that babies see spirits. But I had yet to meet someone who had witnessed this. Until recently.
The bedroom where the man had his last breaths.
The old man next door died some months ago but I only found out this week. He was a fairly quiet man who kept to himself and he was most often drunk. I learned of his passing from the owner of the units - Stephan, he told the man died in the bedroom. His tenant had been living there for eleven years - and the apartment was also suffering from the effects of many years of cigarette and alcohol abuse.
Stephan took me upstairs and showed me the room where the man had died. The walls were yellow and the apartment seemed very sad. The old man had worn out the floor coverings in a corner of the kitchen where he had sat and drank his life away. His body had been found by a relative and it took the police the whole day to investigate and to eventually remove his body.
Stephan was busy refurbishing the apartment because his daughter and child would move from the smaller downstairs unit to the top floor. I asked if she had seen the unit. Then he astounded me when he started telling me he was convinced that babies see spirits. He did not know of my connection to the Psychic Reporter. I was all ears.
When Babies See Spirits
Some days earlier he was in the bedroom where the man had died and noticed his one year old grandchild staring into the corner of the room. He said the child’s eyes were fixed on the corner of the room and then started laughing. Both Stephan and his daughter were not in the child’s range of sight but did not interrupt. They could not see anything but the child certainly could - the one year old was watching and laughing. Later in the other bedroom the same happened - the child was transfixed on one part of the room and burst into laughter.
Stephan asked me what I thought and I told him about this website. The he probed and asked did I think it was possible that babies see spirits? I did think it was possible. I asked psychic medium Robert Reeves if he thought babies see spirits. He assured me they do - but “invisible friends” were usually discouraged out of existence by well meaning parents.
I stood in the room and pondered what I had been told. This is not a story a man would normally share to his male friends. And I thank Stephan for telling me. It has left me with some lovely thoughts. We saw the old man as a drunk withered away from the effects of smoke and alcohol. Nobody would have seen the purity of his soul - his spirit. Except for a baby who was given a reason to laugh.
So if you ask me do babies see spirits I’d have to say: “yes”. There is more to life that most of us realize.
