I only have a few pictures of ghosts. They are not something I come into contact with very often. But this image below is one that makes me wonder. I know the place where it was taken and the circumstances.
For the past ten years I have been in contact with people who explore paranormal. Some of them are quite normal folk. But all of them are on an adventure to find evidence of spirits and ghosts. It is their hobby - their sport. In most cases they rule out the obvious - and the majority can be ruled out as paranormal. But there are a few that leave them highly excited.
This photograph was taken on a ghost tour of Menange House by a skeptic. But when she got home and looked at her photographs she had a second thought - she sent the image directly to the tour guide. What is in this picture? Let’s look at a bit of history of the house. It was built in the 1830’s. Here are some things we do know:
- Psychics believe a person committed suicide in the home.
- Seven babies are buried in the grounds.
- Convicts help build the home.
- Convicts stayed in the house for a night on route to jail.
- Some say the doll in the upstairs bedroom is evil.
- People have experienced being touched or being brushed against
- The house groans and creaks
- The room we see is a storeroom.
True Pictures of Ghosts?
I am not sure about this picture. My rational mind wants to say it is Photoshopped or someone was upstairs or it’s a curtain. My creative mind wants to believe it is a woman looking at where her child was buried. Or is it a child beside her? It certainly looks like woman with her arm around a child. In the downstairs parlor the wall is adorned with old photographs of the home. Could this be the ghost of one of them watching over the house? Is she happy with a ghost tour tramping through?
