A psychic palm reader taps into two worlds - psychic intuition and what is written on your palm. Once they tune into messages from your energy or from spirit, they can validate them by checking your palm. In effect the psychic adds value to a palm reading with their clairvoyance. There are many palm readers who are not psychic - they interpret what they see on your palm, having learned either from books, a master palmist or experience. However, psychic palm readers are few - and hard to find. So you will have to do some hunting, but it will be worth the effort. To narrow the field you could ask the following:
- How long have you been reading palms?
- How many palms would you have read in your life?
- Are you a “psychic” palm reader?
- Is your psychic intuition through you or spirit?
- Do you have spirit guides?
- What can I expect from this reading?
- How long is the reading?
- How much will the reading cost?
This will give you a measure of the reader’s experience, but not their ability. The best guide to a good psychic palm reader is word of mouth or testimonials. However, if it is a charity event or the cost is token I wouldn’t be too serious - just enjoy the experience.

Psychic Palm Reader or Non Psychic Reader?
A palm reader who is psychic can interpret the lines and mounts on your palm, but intuition - and perhaps connection to spirit - will allow them to perceive a bigger picture. But a palm reader who is not psychic will deliver a reading based on their study of books, along with their own experiences. Books on palm reading are not all the same - you will find that meanings differ - no line is set in stone. Furthermore, some palm readers will link the palm to astrology, others will not.
What to Expect
A psychic palm reader should be tuned-in to you or spirit. They will be able to look at your past by reading your lifeline on your dominant hand (that’s the hand you use the most) - although they should look at both hands. Some may read right for males and left for females. Master Palmist Ian Cameron has been reading for years - he is upfront about costs, time and what to expect. He can read your past and how you are now. He will predict the future based on your present journey - but that can change as you change. Lines change, fingerprints don’t.
How to Find One
Do some research. On the internet you can join a forum and follow what people are talking about - it doesn’t matter what country you join - the result is still the same. You will find some interesting topics and that will give you some clues as what to ask or what to expect. Call a local library. Check out the coffee shops. The local new age shop. Ask friends. Searching can be great fun as well.
A Little Caution
Don’t let any reader touch on a sensitive area - they should ask your permission to speak about it. If you feel uncomfortable tell them so. I once had a reader tell me she had a message from a passed family member - I told her I didn’t want it - she looked horrified. I did not feel comfortable with her - let alone her ability to connect. I’d be a little careful sending off my palm print for a written reply. I want time with my psychic palm reader either face to face or on the phone. Never pay for a written report from someone you have never talked to - it could be a generic read from a computer program. You need to be able to ask questions.
