When I’m asked “are psychics real?” - I return the question and ask “what do you think?” - it’s important to know what direction they’re coming from. This helps me know if I am dealing with a skeptic, someone sitting on the fence or someone wanting confirmation in their belief. I steer clear from debates as my purpose is not to convince others. Life is too short for that. I just tell stories on what I see or in some cases what I do not see.
Over the years I have witnessed thousands of readings on my radio show. I have also run and attended platform events with very large audiences. I have witnessed many incredible moments - and some, not that incredible. When television shows test psychics it happens in a controlled atmosphere - free energy doesn’t flow too well in those situations.
Throughout this website I use the word “psychic” to encompass all people who claim to have hidden abilities beyond our normal senses. Whether they be psychics, fortune tellers, clairvoyants, oracles, shamans or whatever. When we ask “are psychics real” - I am answering with all of them in mind. Not just psychics.
A psychic gets information through the energy of the person they are reading for. Whereas a psychic medium gets that information from spirit. It’s important to know the difference when making inquiries for a reading.
How are Psychics Real?
There is no meter or graph we can use to point us to a real psychic. “Real” is in the eye of the beholder. My suggestion is to do a bit of research. If you ask your friends: “are psychics real?” - you could be in for a surprise. I have found that those I’d expect to be skeptic are not and vice versa.

Generally a psychic will have experience with readings, parapsychology and also the paranormal. In fact, they will be obsessed with it. Some inexperienced psychics get confused with the symbolic nature of the signals they sense - a sudden cold feeling by one psychic might have a different meaning by another. Each will come to understand and develop their own interpretations.
Are psychics real? Each of us will have to make up our own mind. And the research can be great fun.
